Object Description
Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring. Set to centre with an oval old cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back rubover millegrain setting with an approximate weight of 2.00 carats, flanked by sixteen tapered channel set calibre cut sapphires in open back millegrain settings to four horizontal rows with an approximate combined weight of 0.80 carats, further set with forty eight round old single cut diamonds in open back grain and millegrain settings to six alternate horizontal tapered rows with an approximate combined weight of 0.50 carats, to an elegant tapered form with a pierced geometric gallery and intricate backholing, with fluted shoulders and a solid lightly ridged D-shape shank.
