Object Description
A Boucheron pendant watch that is of archetypal Art Deco design and a highlight of a highly revered period. A diamond hoop leads to an intricate platinum diamond and emerald pendulum framed by black enamel and diamond foliate scrolls tapering to a large rock crystal which covers the watch face and can be moved to read the time. The numerical bezel in gold and white enamel decorates the top of a barrel enamelled in black and gold, set with repeated diamond channels above a bombé of diamonds set with a cabochon emerald to the centre. Mounted on platinum. Circa 1920s.
