A stunning, fine and impressive pair of antique Georgian 0.45 ct turquoise and 18 carat yellow gold drop earrings; part of our antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections
These stunning antique Georgian earrings are crafted in 18 ct yellow gold.
These torpedo shaped, cannetille style earrings display leaf and floral ornamentation, accented with interwoven scrolling strands.
Each earring incorporates three collet set cabochon cut turquoises to the centre of the flower head designs.
The upper and lower portions of the settings are embellished with organic graduating designs; the upper portion of each terminates at a simplified fleur-de-lis style motif.
The overall design is completed with a plain yellow gold ball articulated drop, suspended from the main setting.
These impressive antique turquoise earrings for pierced ears secure via a French hook, accented with an oval undulating collet set cabochon cut turquoise encircled with a rope twist border.
These Georgian earrings are supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
The earrings have been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 ct gold.
Such early 19th century examples, in this high quality and condition, are a rarity and becoming increasingly difficult to locate.
