1.25 Carat Diamond Solitaire Engagement Ring. Circa 1930. Platinum marked 10 % IRID. PLAT. Set in a four claw setting an old cut diamond. Diamond measures approximately 1.25 carats. Diamond J Colour, VS Clarity. Step down diamond set shoulders, three old cut diamonds to each shoulder. All diamonds are claw set. Pierced out gallery. Plain band shank.
To the reverse the diamonds are set into open backed settings, this allows the light to shine through.
The diamond solitaire measures approximately 6.5 mm across.
