Object Description
A rare and very unusual large cylindrical Charles II tankard with elegant contemporary acanthus leaf embossing to the lower body. The lid is hinged with additional acanthus leaf workmanship and a fabulous twined scrolling foliage thumb piece. The handle is scroll formed and has a unique central “rib” decoration for highlights.
