Object Description
17th century antique oak coffer dating from the William and Mary period. This coffer has good moulded detail on the front of the legs, the uprights and around the panels on the top. There are four panels on the front and three on the top, the front panels are decorated with a diamond shape and the front of the highest cross member has carved scroll decoration. There is an old lock, but no key. Let us know if you want us to try and make a key as it is sometimes possible. The colour and patina of this coffer is very good and will be even better when it has been waxed in our workshops.
