Object Description
A pair of 18th century French unglazed white stoneware ewers with applied decoration of slip floral sprigs and whorls. This elegant pair complement one another with slightly varying relief decoration applied in a slip of the same clay and would have been made for everyday use. These ewers are in excellently preserved condition with a fine antique patina.
