Object Description
18th century George III period antique mahogany bedside cupboard. This little antique pot cupboard has some lovely details, the ebony stringing has squares at the corners, the legs are turned to look like bamboo, as are the x frame stretchers.
There is also a turned platform on the stretchers, perhaps for a washing bowl. The mahogany chosen for this antique night stand is a really good cut of timber with an interesting grain pattern that is sometimes referred to as plum pudding mahogany.
