Object Description
Antique 18th century dining table comprising two D-ends and centre table with gate leg action. The position of the centre table legs has been well thought out so that, unusually for a D-end table, the six middle legs are out of the way of the knees of the diner. The colour of this table is a good golden brown and much less red than the photographs would suggest. This table is unusually tall for the period and at 29½ inches high gives a generous 24½ inch clearance for knees even at the lowest point.
