A late 18th century Sheraton satinwood veneered tea caddy.
The tea caddy is kingwood cross banded edges, ebony line stringing and has marquetry inlay to the top of the lid and front.
The interior has two mahogany lids with brass knob handles and the lock and key are in working condition.
The box is in good condition, the polish has been sympathetically restored and the caddy has no lining. (Circa 1790)
