18th Century Style Oak Dresser
A George II style oak three drawer dresser and delft rack.
The dresser base has cabriole shaped front legs with a ‘Knight’s Foot’ shaped toe and square back legs.
The three drawers are cross banded with mahogany, a cock beaded edge and open fret brass handles.
The rack has three shelves and a cupboard at each end with a slim drawer underneath.
The cornice has a moulded profile and a pierced scroll decoration underneath.
The dresser is a very good 19th century copy of a period dresser and in good condition apart from a couple of chips to the cross banding. (Circa 1880)
