A middle of the 19th century China Trade amboyna veneered camphor wood secretaire campaign chest.
The chest has ebony corners and feet and is constructed in two parts with brass carrying handles top and bottom.
The drawer fronts have gilt brass military plate handles, each drawer has a British made Bramah lock but there are no keys.
The fall front secretaire drawer is fitted inside with camphor wood drawers, one missing, pigeon holes and a cupboard.
The back of the two part chest is panelled with camphor wood.
The chest is in good original condition with the exception of one lower lock changed and a secretaire drawer missing.
