A late 19th century mahogany clothes or towel rail.
The rail has a broad platform base with scroll style support ends from which a pair of gates open to extend the hanging space.
The gates have a pair of hook and eye fastenings to keep them closed.
The rail is in very good condition. (Circa 1880)
