A 19th century French rosewood mirror door armoire by the Paris cabinet makers Moulin, signed on the reverse. .
The large single door has a bevelled edge mirror, is serpentine in shape at the top edge and the reverse side is panelled in bird eye maple.
The door has a very good quality double throw brass lock and a working key.
The interior has four adjustable and removable oak and rosewood edged shelves with a maple fronted drawer below.
The armoire stands on four cabriole shaped legs with scroll toes and carved knees.
Between the front legs is a long oak lined drawer with a working lock and key.
The sides of the armoire are rosewood quarter veneered and cross banded.
The top is serpentine in shape and has a round edge mould profile.
The armoire is of exceptional quality throughout with oak linings and an oak panelled back.
The armoire is designed to completely dismantle for transport. (Circa 1870)
