Object Description
19th century cast iron antique table base. This table base is a pretty design with foliate scrolls and rosettes, while also having the strength to hold a heavy top if required. It has slender yet strong triangular stretchers underneath to keep the end supports in place. It is currently painted green, while not being very recently done, the paint does look to be in good order. It currently is being used with a plywood top, a new top of marble, slate or hard wood would look very good.
