Object Description
An early 20th century earlier style carved rosewood Chinese wall mirror.
The mirror frame has a half round profile with five pierced decorative carvings.
The oblong mirror plate has a bevelled edge and the frame has a pierced brass plate to the top from which it can be hung.
The mirror has been given as a prize in the past and has a silver metal plaque at the bottom “H G C Hope Challenge Prize 1937 – Won by Mrs T M Burton”.
The mirror and frame are in very good condition, and extra pair of brass plates have been added to the sides for hanging but can be removed if wished. (Circa 1930)
