This fine and impressive Victorian opal brooch has been crafted in 15ct yellow gold with a 9ct yellow gold pin.
The multi-claw frame tapers to either terminal.
The design is ornamented with give individually claw set cabochon cut opals, subtly graduated in size.
The opals are displayed between a total of twelve pavé set Old European round cut diamonds, with a total carat weight of 0.32cts.
The 15ct yellow gold brooch secures to the reverse with a 9ct yellow gold hinged pin and clasp and benefits from the addition security of a fine link safety chain and clip.
This antique Victorian bar brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 15ct and 9ct gold.
The brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
