A stunning, fine and impressive Victorian 2.99 carat white opal and 0.96 carat diamond, 9 carat yellow gold and silver set brooch; part of our diverse antique jewellery collections
This stunning, fine and impressive diamond and opal brooch has been crafted in 9 ct yellow gold with a silver setting.
The pierced decorated frame is ornamented with a feature 2.99 ct cabochon cut opal, 9ct yellow gold claw set to the centre of the design.
The opal is surrounded by sixteen diamonds, individually set in a quatrefoil shaped silver setting to a pierced decorated arch.
The incurve of each silver arch design is embellished with a further sixteen pavé set diamonds; all the supporting diamonds are a combination of Old European and eight-cut.
The antique brooch secures to the reverse with a curved hinged pin and clasp.
This stunning antique Victorian brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 9 ct gold and silver.
The brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
