A stunning vintage 1950’s 3.10 carat Burmese ruby and 4.29 carat diamond, platinum drop style necklace; part of our diverse gemstone jewellery and estate jewelry collections
This stunning, fine and impressive vintage ruby and diamond necklace has been crafted in platinum.
The ornate drop design is ornamented with seven individually five claw set pear cut Burmese rubies.
The seven rubies suspend from the terminals of the central seven articulated linear drop settings, the linear drops and a further six drops are embellished with a total of thirty-five collet set baguette cut diamonds.
The drops suspend from an ornate interwoven design frame, embellished with fifty-three pave set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds and five collet set baguette cut diamonds.
The necklace is worn upon a 16.5″ fine belcher chain, securing to the reverse with a conventional spring loaded bolt ring fastening.
The fastening of this 1950s jewellery is hallmarked twice with the platinum fineness marks (950PT and PT950).
This vintage ruby and diamond necklace is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card in addition to a certificate supplied by the Gemmological Certification Services, London.
