A stunning vintage 1950’s 5.08 carat opal and 2.49 carat diamond, platinum dress ring; part of our diverse opal jewellery and estate jewelry collections.
This stunning, fine and impressive large opal and diamond ring has been crafted in platinum.
The asymmetric design is ornamented with a feature four claw set 5.08ct opal panel.
The opal is flanked to the lower border with a three claw set pear cut diamond.
The surrounding setting is ornamented with a further 1.55cts of baguette and tapered baguette cut diamonds, all collet set.
The pierce decorated, elevated ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and meld with the plain ring shank.
The ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank, however this is worn and illegible and therefore has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum.
The ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading certificate for the larger diamond in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting diamonds and opal.
