C19th Mauchlin Ware Souvenir large dish with central transfer printed scene of the Scott Monument Edinburgh, scenes of Holyrood Palace, Abbotsford, Edinburgh Castle and Dryburgh Abbey are printed around the border. Mauchlinware items are made fromi sycamore wood. Mauchlinware was manufactured from the early C19th to the 1930’s in the south west of Scotland.
