Object Description
19th century Baroque Revival blackamoor figure holding a large clam shell atop of his head with Moorish influenced dress. This finely carved figure is in the style of Andrea Brustolon the famous Venetian wood carver of the 18th century. It is similar to many of the Brustolon figures in the C’a Rezzonica in Venice.
