Object Description
A charming late 19th century (circa 1890) mahogany chest of drawers.
This chest of drawers consists of a nicely figured mahogany top with a moulded edge and carved outer edge leading down to a brushing slide with brass handles.
This leads down to three graduated drawers all with applied astragal design mouldings, each drawer having two fine quality decorative gilt handles, the drawer linings of pine.
The sides also of solid mahogany with applied moulded decoration, the chest supported by four bracket feet with carved leaf decoration.
This piece is in very good condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
