A charming penguin brooch by E. Wolfe & Co c.1990s, the finely modelled three-dimensional penguin standing in three quarter profile and depicted as a cocktail waiter, made in platinum and black enamel with a textured finish to the front of the body resembling feathers, wearing a diamond-set bow tie and holding aloft a gold tray on which is balanced a gold bottle and platinum glass set with a ruby to represent the drink it holds, over his wing is a waiters cloth set with round brilliant cut diamonds, the eyes are set with cabochon sapphires, to a single pin fitting on the reverse. This delightful chap will bring a touch of wit and whimsy to any outfit and is sure to prove a talking point when you go out for drinks!
