Object Description
A freestanding mahogany open bookcase attributed to Gillows, of upright rectangular form, the top with a hinged and ratcheted book stand with a gadrooned edge, enclosing three shelves with dummy end books on two sides, all set on a plinth base. English, circa 1830.
