This large and elegant and Meissen clock and base are both decorated profusely to sides with applied polychrome flowers, painted scattered flowers, romantic scenes to clock and stand, a well modelled group of shepherd and shepherdess to top of clock, the delicately worked ormolou clock face with enamelled Roman numerals, Meissen crossed swords to base, Meissen c. 1870
