Object Description
A Meiji period Satsuma earthenware bowl, painted in coloured enamels and over-glaze gilding with two ladies wearing brocade robes in a framed panel against flowering plants on a gold-stippled ground, the exterior with a continuous comb-tooth millefleurs band, signed in gilt Shozan. Japanese, c1880.
