Watercolour . A delightful study of a clearly much loved pet. The name ‘PRECIOUS’ is inscribed at upper right.

Object History

Althea Garstin was the daughter of the artist Norman Garstin who taught her to paint. She lived at Penzance for many years and was a member of the Royal Western Academy (RWA) where she exhibited between 1912 and 1938.

Perfect. Frame size 24.5 x 21.5 inches.
