A rare small finely figured mahogany Sheraton period serpentine Sideboard

Object Description

The crossbanded serpentine shaped top over a central drawer flanked by two drawers and a deep linen drawer which retain original handles and escutcheons, raised on six string inlaid square tapered legs terminating in a block foot. Banded inlays of amaranth wood and tulipwood and boxwood lines throughout.
