A Rare and Unusual Lyre-Shaped Strut Clock

The case of most unusual lyre shape demonstrating the outstanding creativeness of its designer, built up in six layers and decorated profusely in careful and precise line engraving; the bezel to the dial and the outer border to the lyre having Cole’s very late “line & ball” engraving as a main feature. The porcelain dial, found in late Cole clocks, having roman numerals and fleur de Lys hands. The movement of one-month duration stamped D E E 123.
