Full of vitality and character, this fine and very large porcelain parrot sculpture was made by the German makers Volkstedt in the early 20th century. Known for their finely painted and skilfully crafted models, sculptures, and miniatures, Volkstedt porcelain have retained a strong reputation to this day among collectors.
