Object Description

A little treasure of an Antique Silver bachelor Teapot made in the reign of William IV ; by John Edward Terry . The lower portion of teapot is embellished with vine leaves which are repeated on the moulded shaped foot. The hinged lid is opened with a flower finial and the floral decoration is repeated in the domed section of the lid. The flower design is replicated in the top portion of the pot which also has a vacant cartouche to one side. The Tea Pot has a wooden handle. Height to finial 3.75 inches 9.5 cm . Capacity 14 fl oz 400 ml
