Circa 1880, George III Adams style, gilt wall or overmantel mirror. With gilt frame and fine beading to the inside and outside, surmounted by shaped top with a Wedgwood-like panel, enclosed in a gilt frame. There are ribbon decorations to the top, with foliate carving and held in place by cluster columns with fold over leaves and acorns to the ends. Continuing down from this are shaped and carved gesso in foliate patterns, finishing on ribbons. The base ends on a small single point and the mirror has its original glass.
