A matching pair of finely modelled solid gold Ancient Greek earrings, which comprise a twisted gold wire circular hoop to the top and an ornate granule cluster composition to the bottom. On the bottom of each hoop, two small pyramidal clusters of granules mirrored on either side. The pendants, resembling grape clusters, comprise three levels of granulation topped by pyramidal clusters, leading to four larger gold granules below, each with smaller granule pyramid finials to the bottom. A highly sophisticated design, showcasing the high refinement of goldsmith art in the Ancient Greek culture. The earrings are modelled using high karat gold, around 22-24 karat. Weight: 8.96 g.
