Object Description
A fine restrung Ancient Roman black glass beaded necklace. The body of the necklace is comprised of alternating small spherical and discoid shaped beads which display attractive striations and textures. Dispersed between, are groups of larger spherical beads. A pendant is formed from a stack of five beads, four of which are slightly larger and display natural textures and shapes. The final bead is smaller and features a perforation through which the necklace is threaded. The piece has been finished with a modern gold-plated clasp. Please note that the clasp has not been professionally tied.
