Object Description
An extremely fine Ancient Roman matching pair of gold earrings, each modelled in high karat gold and featuring a gold medallion enriched with a high relief cameo, and a single dangling large garnet bead. The medallion on each earring is finely bordered by a petal detailing to the outer edge, and centred by a cameo sensitively depicting the mask of the Gorgon Medusa and the face of a youthful female figure.
