Ancient Roman Gold Ring with Garnet Cabochon

Object Description

A beautiful Ancient Roman gold ring enriched with a cabochon garnet. The band of the ring is forked on either side, with foliate curls peeling away from the centre. The deep red garnet showcases an attractive glow encased in a gold frame. The sides of the bezel display several raised rims and features a flat base.
