Object Description
An ancient Roman light green flask with a piriform body adorned by six pinched decorations around the middle of the body and a long cylindrical neck with tooling at the base and an everted collared and rolled rim. The flask’s base is concave. This piece has the colour of ancient glass in its natural state – bluish green that resulted from the iron oxide present in the silica or the sand.
