Object Description
A restrung Ancient Roman turquoise glass beaded necklace. The body of the necklace is comprised of small spherical and ellipsoid beads of varying textures and hues, creating a mosaic-like effect. The necklace culminates at a centrepiece which is comprised of two larger spherical beads which feature striations throughout. The final bead is a smaller spherical bead creating the pendant shape. The piece has been finished with a modern gold-plated clasp (please note that the clasp has not been professionally tied).
