Object Description
This is a wonderful and rare huge antique English Victorian silver plated bronze figural centrepiece, Circa 1880 in date.
It has superb embossed and engraved decoration and features a lady in classical Greco-Roman attire holding aloft a pierced bowl and standing on a circular plinth raised on a square base on quadruped shaped feet.
The pierced bowl contains a silver plated bowl that can beused for fruit, sweets, flowers a plant, etc, or can be removed when not required.
There is no mistaking its unique quality and design, and it’s rarity is sure to make it a treasured and interesting piece by any discerning collector.
