171 – A 20″ campaign writing slope or writing box made of good heavy mahogany with extensive brass strapping, a pull out drawer, flush side handles, matching escutcheon and top plaque.
The interior has antique blue leather, secret drawers under the bridge, a reading riser (which is stored inside), and period matching inkwells.
The lock is a Turner Patent triple lug lock in working order with key.
