This fine antique Caucasian area rug is a rare handwoven rug made with a unique medallion. Yellow and red make up the main colours of the four medallions through the centre, woven with great detail. The bordering design that frames the central medallions is woven in the same rich colours and features an elegant repeat pattern. The colour and design in this piece make it sure to uplift any room it is introduced too.
Constructed with fine, hand-spun wool which has been dyed with organic vegetable dyeing techniques which have bee used for generations. This piece is suitable for use as a bedroom rug, living room rug, entranceway rug or dining room rug. This piece is in a good condition, clean and ready for use.
