This magnificent four-light chandelier showcases a fusion of design influences and is meticulously crafted from a selection of superb materials.
The central stem is fashioned to resemble a twisted rope, with elaborate embellishments at both ends. The upper section is adorned with motifs inspired by nature, while the lower portion features intricately detailed Baroque-style masks. Adding to the chandelier’s grandeur are graceful winged female figures extending outward from the central column. Their wings lead to prominent scrollwork that culminates in elegant bobeches. Each bobeche supports a deep blue ceramic oil reservoir, topped by an ormolu pierced burner and finished with a clear glass chimney.
The ormolu is marked ‘EB’.
