This is a novelty antique Edwardian silver plated inkwell made by Hamilton Laidlaw & Company, circa 1900.
The inkwell features a golf ball with liner for the ink and a pair of crossed golf clubs. The plateau is beautifully engraved with scrolling leaves and is inscribed Broxbourne Golf Club.
It stands on shell and paw feet.
This inkwell is lovely and would make a lovely gift for any golf enthusiast.
