Object Description

An Antique Edwardian Sterling silver Argyll, designed for serving gravy, which has a plain straight sided body, a hinged lid with a simple finial, a good sized pouring spout and a wicker handle which is still in excellent condition. There is some bead detailing at the top and bottom of the body and a hinged lidded compartment on the side to add the water in order to keep the gravy warm. This silver Argyll has been made to the highest standard and would be perfect to use on the table as it works perfectly. It weighs 15.90 troy ounces (494 grams).
