Object Description

An antique Edwardian sterling silver Sovereign case which is round in shape with hammered effect decoration to the body, a vacant cartouche on the front and a push button at the top to open the lid. Once the lid has been opened, it reveals a spring mechanism which has been designed to house the Sovereigns. There is also a ring attachment at the top so that it can be worn if so desired. This stylish and well cared for Sovereign Case would make a useful addition to a collection and would make an ideal gift. When taking photographs, it is difficult to eliminate the reflection on silver.
