Object Description
An antique Edwardian sterling silver three-piece tea set which consists of a teapot, sugar basin and milk jug. The teapot is oval shape in design with part spiral fluted decoration to the body, gadroon decoration around the top rim, a hinged lid with similar spiral fluting and resting on four ball feet. The milk jug and sugar basin each have the same oval shaped bodies with part spiral fluting and pretty handles with leaf capped decoration. The interiors of the milk jug and sugar basin have been nicely gilded and they each rest on four ball feet. This silver tea set has been made to the highest standard, as one would expect from Elkington, would look splendid when displayed on the table and would be perfect to use.
