This is a gorgeous antique English Victorian silver plated roll over butter dish, also ideal for caviar, Circa 1870 in date.
The domed roll top features superb engraved and cast decoration the underside on a square shaped base with lion mask cabriole legs united with a frieze decorated with a bouquet of flowers.
It has a removable cobat blue glass inner liner.
