Object Description
Leather Fire Bucket marked DT.
A leather Fire Bucket marked with the initials DT to the front. The construction and shape is typical with the back and base seams fixed with close rivets. The leather strap handle is fixed to iron rings with a historic repair to one side. The initials probably refer to either an insurance company or the name of the house it was made for. For modern use, Fire Buckets make great waste paper baskets. Mid to late 19th Century.
Height to rim is given.
