An excellent antique silver salmon dish with a long oval form and reed border. Good large size. Original gilt finish (some wear). Engraved on both sides with a large armorial and the crest “Acta Non Verba”. Weight 2874 grams, 92.4 troy ounces. Length 80 cms. Width 37.5 cms. Marked on the edge with French silver marks. Circa 1840.
This useful silver platter is in very good condition with no damage or restoration. Crisp engraving. French silver mark and makers mark.
